Menion, I think you are referring to pictures attached to one waypoint. But I am talking about Geotagged Photos, which Locus displays, based on their latlon data. Taken from user defined directories.
If Locus would access a 3rd party app for a photo, depending on the app it would be possible to swipe through pictures in the same (file system) folder, which I'd like.
Even better would be if Locus was able to fullscreen display and while swiping through pictures, also select the related points on map.

See attachment. There's just no way to look through all those pictures there.

The picture viewer for geotagged photos IMO needs a rework in order to be useful. Swiping through pictures, fullscreen, it's pretty lacking.

Here's a simple idea for a maybe intermediate solution: on tapping the picture in the bottom window, can't Locus just open a 3rd party viewer app, ideally user defined? So that the attachment window from the 2nd screenshot is not used.

ps: notice my qr coded picture. It links to Google Maps. After I asked for it, the author of xnconvert added qr code to the toolset. It's awesome. He also added Pluscode. No FPS slowdown here. I tested geotagged photos, Locus displays ~10000 POI here on my Mate 20 X.

Beta 4.6.1.6 here and still no 4.7 update on PlayStore 🤔

Du schautest in den Android-Einstellungen nach. Es ist hier aber die Rede von den Einstellungen von Locus Map.

Du kannst LM4 auch auf einem anderen Telefon installieren und dann die Einstellungen exportieren.

Ich habe jetzt mal LM4 installiert.
Aber wo finde ich dort diese Dual-Button Einstellung?
Irgendwie finde ich das nirgends.

Expert Settings via Lang-Klick auf das Hauptmenü einschalten.

Menion, cannot investigate any more. Accidentally deleted the faulty files. I don't know, I did not knowingly update the hgt files. Update again with Sonnys files fixed it. I have no other sources than either your Locus Store or Sonny.
They were 24mb hgt files. Either from Sonny 1" or from Locus server.

I have totally wrong elevation data for 1000s of km now, an area from France to Munich... - 30000 to +30000m... Anyone having an idea? I can't believe suddenly all SRTM files broke... Noticed it before latest beta.

Sonnys data fix it. Idk what is it that broke the hgt files.

So now that looks like a lot of work and time investment and probably not doable for a mere mortal. Can you describe, what can be the advantage of creating an own map? Or maybe you have examples why you do it? Something you maybe don't like about oam maps? Thx! I'm just not yet seeing the advantage... 😐

It's a bit nitpicking, but as much as possible space for map is important.

So, can Locus detect the required space for the collapsed bottom panel more precisely? See screenshot, it could save some more space. Also it would look more useful if only the tracks name would be visible and no half unreadable lines. Maybe you could even create a distinct, space saving ui element only for the collapsed state. With just the track name  visible in a small line (I don't like the word wrap here) and an arrow up tap zone indicating expanding...
