IMO it would be clearer to understand, if it was accessible via a button bottom left. Like "TP 351", "EDIT Trackpoint"... idk exactly.

Is there a reason why you don't put all on one screen? Faster workflow.
Currently there is no toggle back to segment window.

Totally agree converting/ promoting an ordinary track point to a Shaping or Via point is unnecessarily tedious at present. It's a very common use case. But we've had this discussion before right ;-(

Vice versa here, cannot help. Perfect organisation in Locus, exact same GPX file system folder structure on Android and Windows, rather meant as backup.

Route Planner. I think the most common thing is inserting shaping points somewhere into a track- and this is a bit too hidden. First we have to go to the three dot submenu, pick "Trackpoint XY", then convert it.

I understand there's the same logic here as on tracks. You toggle between track segment and trackpoint.

The toggling to trackpoint should be bettom left, just like in normal track window. See screenshot - there could be a button "Trackpoint XY". That's my idea. Would follow the same logic as the track window.

Not following the logic, but ultra super mega convenient would be, if all three trackpoint commands ("Change to") were already visible in the orange screenshot area. Because why not - after toggling, the trackpoint screen additionally includes only Help and Streetview. Both are also available in the "Route segment" view. So you could unify and simplify it.

What's the use case of this, how can this be useful? Just curious... I'd never try route planner on a recorded track. So now I did and it created shaping point #1 somewhere in the middle and some other shaping points somewhere.
So if Locus could algorithmically recreate a route from a recorded track (like BRouter web can do in "Load track as route"), that would make sense... but I don't see that on the horizon.

I wonder how much a premium gold or silver subscription would cost converted to LoCoins. Currently I have like 800, stacking up, because of the sporadic Asamm "we have a gift for you"...

Premium/LoCoins, interesting, this makes me notice my subscription renewal was end of march, which I didn't notice, my bad🙂 Money is a thing here unfortunately, I probably would have tried to put Locoins into it, but... so what... I will use the last money I have for asamm, I hope the business can stay successful.

hi guys, any suggestions to make it more usable for you?

a) make it more obvious for users that bottom left toggles between track and trackpoint. This is something most users will not easily see currently.

b) maybe different behaviour when in navigation mode. I didn't think it through. Maybe show point info instead of track info first, when navigating. When tapping the track which is used for navigation.

c) Dock the point navigation elements as well? It's usimg so much space, also due to its headline.

Works now. Bug with increasing its size per tap. Last step makes it fullscreen just for a moment, then window disappears.

Re: pip - what is it showing, what would I need?

Intervals would make more sense, e.g. if Locus would remove times of no movement in its calculations. I feel Locus needs some kind of flattened/corrected/averaged performance graph maybe. A third line in the slope/elevation graph? I know we can display speed, but a) that is a very fuzzy line also due to gps spikes and b) usually we change it back to elev/slope, ie a bit clumsy.

Same engine. 100% convenience - Locus can download the router files. It also includes routing profiles into the backup.

Btw. long click on the "Dashboard" in the function panel offer also "hide" option.

Maybe because you aren't used to? He uses the bold text system already IIRC in the recording presets and audio trainers. Also systems where there's just one item active.
Hmm but I can see, it's a rather unusual ui. Maybe a "Use" entry in the "..." menu helps so people find something in any case.
