I'm wondering about LMs (long-term) offline behaviour regarding license. I have some bad experience with a Playstore app, where the developers fate is unknown (unresponsive) - the app does not start in case of no contact with his license servers. Something you're not aware of normally. Some users even have paid eur 100  for it (dgt board connection). Acid Ape Chess.

Was jpg angeht - habt Ihr jpegli von Google auf dem Schirm? Erzeugt kleinere und bessere jpgs, codiert schneller. Nachteile sehe ich nicht.

Nein, alps-east sieht bei mir gleich aus wie in meinem Screenshot . Schwarz-gelb habe ich auch eigentlich nicht im Theme. Ist irgendwas bei Dir. Definitiv nicht ein aktuelles Theme von mir.

Theme aktuell? Die Karte (ich testete mit Austria OAM) kann einen Unterschied machen. Sehe ich mir an.

Also, in meinem Theme sieht es ais wie im Screenshot. Da ist einmal die SAC-Codierung und daneben die normale Farbe von Wanderwegen.

Vermutlich zeigt Dein Screenshot das Settler-Theme.

Looks good, the road names stay on the road and rotate 180 if necessary, as it should be. Performance is hit, may cost battery (maybe make it optional?), on my phone it feels like 15 fps in gaming. Not sure 100% how rotation was before. Anyway no problem for me, I only selectively use auto rotating map.

EDIT: That 15 fps feel is caused by the stepwise rotation, not by performance. It's not fluently as before, but like in 0.5° steps.

Search for the database for tracks on your storage. If you find it, save it for use with the new install. If you don't find it, only a backup may help you. 3rd option is a sync.
