does "activity recognition" mean accelerometer? Even when stationary but good +/-2m GPS accuracy, locus often decides there is movement. It could prevent map rotating while stationary too.

and finally incorporate the accelerometer sensor for more accurate detection of being paused/ stationary/ no movement - could then be extended to avoid unnecessary & disorientating rotation when paused - compare to Google Maps which makes it look so beautiful

The current beta version 4.35.0.4 is quite buggy: The global search doesn't work

"quite buggy" - quite a strong term; but yes, I have similar experience - search (places & addresses) > known-place > displayed in list > tap > no change of map. On the other hand, search for a category instead of known-place appears to work.

probably not this latest beta, but has anyone noticed/ can confirm, once MyLibrary folders are sorted manually, it is no longer possible to sort by the auto methods eg. Name | Distance | Created? I find when I select "Name" none of the folder change order; or Reverse sorting; only manual makes any difference.

on the sub-topic of LM3 <> LM$ - can we expect a small team of developers to work for free? Apple & Google & other huge advertising companies have given us unrealistic expectations.

@Graf Geo - Augmented Reality - remind me how to test/ enable? It would be a good setting for presets &/or map content panel?

to minimize battery during multi-day cycle tours I have the screen timeout set to 5s and only manually turn on when I need to decide rather than relying on Locus to decide; 5s is normally long enough to confirm in my head what's I should do; I have the saved track visible but not navigation mode; I find viewing the map & making an intelligent turn decision (or not) is 95% more reliable than automated navigation

4.35.0.2: select preset... very briefly displays orange warning. This is a new warning but not very useful - which option? and map rotation for the selected present IS on

MyLibrary > long tap any recorded track > there is no bottom menu?? I can't move any tracks in bulk.
