I'm wondering about LMs (long-term) offline behaviour regarding license. I have some bad experience with a Playstore app, where the developers fate is unknown (unresponsive) - the app does not start in case of no contact with his license servers. Something you're not aware of normally. Some users even have paid eur 100  for it (dgt board connection). Acid Ape Chess.

Bug. Main menu - All Features - Search (enter at least one letter): you cannot exit the window.

Search integration: oh yes, I'd love to have it use eg my offline Geonames. And please consider priority search, like "first check offline sources, then online", maybe user can decide what sources to include... etc etc time will tell

Nein, alps-east sieht bei mir gleich aus wie in meinem Screenshot . Schwarz-gelb habe ich auch eigentlich nicht im Theme. Ist irgendwas bei Dir. Definitiv nicht ein aktuelles Theme von mir.

Search for the database for tracks on your storage. If you find it, save it for use with the new install. If you don't find it, only a backup may help you. 3rd option is a sync.

Thanks, do people in mapsforge/openmaps also do themes like this way? It would be counter productive per efficiency in a company for which maps are a daily task to do.

Yes, they grow and have historical remains, inconsistent logic etc. - Solution as for user themes: Don't use them or create better ones.

Thank you. There was an instant itch to a) zoom the 3D view via pinching and b) make the 2D/3D view fullscreen. If there was a quick toggle between diagram and map, that could be helpful.

1 and 2 is what I use. Quick Bookmarks (2) usually if related to map center position, "Run task" list (1) for the others. I recommend to create a Project "LocusUI" in Tasker and in the Plugin filter for LocusUI/.*

Zossebart, you can have max. 2 direct toolbar entries. This is solution 1. But they will just have the Tasker icon.

Another flexible way would be to have a (semi transparent) Tasker Scene on top. But scenes aren't fun to create at all.

Task creates random temporary points at map center in different ways.

Howto:
1. Import Task
2. Create a Quick Bookmark with in LM4, URL scheme see below code box.
3. Use that quick bookmark, in the dialogue, change values.

Have fun. Action no. 23, the JS code to calculate newpos from oldpos+dir+distance is the meat of it. "earth_radius" is for my area. Not too important.

Developers must be some tough species. You start with some idea, generously share ("could be useful for others"), add heaps of features, some of which you don't personally need... 10 years ago you thought "it's pretty complete", a year ago someone asked for feature 451441552, quote: "this is an absolute must-have, otherwise your app is garbage", yesterday Google broke something, tomorrow they tell you feature 45523645985 and 7458868.869022 are quintessential. Someone wishes you biblical plagues for not implementing things.
