Before you could use the full height of the screen, now theses tiny additional diagrams that I don't even need?
And while you can set the x asis to "time" it will not show the absolute time as recorded (what I'm intersted in) but only a relative time which always starts at 0:00 (useful but not for me).
Again, a major step back in LM's usefulness. WHY??

I have a question about importing GPX routes.
I import a route (not a track) that contains many <rtept> elements. After the import, Locus Map removes most of these route points.
For example, if the GPX route contains about 30 route points, only about 10 points remain as via points when I open the route in the route planner for editing.
Is there a way to import the route without losing any route points, so that a later route recalculation uses all original points?
If many route points are missing, the recalculated route is often very different from the original one.
Here is a simplified example of the GPX structure:

I've recently started using a custom offline vector map instead of the standard one. Everything works fine when browsing the map, but I noticed that some small places shown on the map can't be found with offline search.
Is offline search only looking at the LoPoints database, or can it also search the names that are stored inside a custom vector map?
I couldn't find a clear answer in the settings, so I was wondering if I'm missing an option somewhere. If anyone has experience with this, I'd really appreciate your advice. Thanks!

I also found a way to display the distance to the next maneuver and the turn instruction directly on the dashboard, which already helps a lot.
However, I still think it would be nice if Locus could automatically switch to the map for a few seconds when approaching a turn, and then switch back to the dashboard afterwards. That would provide the best balance between battery saving on OLED displays and visual navigation.

Last post by TrulloF - July 14, 2026, 09:02:23Why don't you create a dashboard in Locus, which has a solid black background? The internal dashboard editor should be able to that. It takes some time to understand it, but then you have lots of possibilities to play around with.

Last post by freischneider - July 14, 2026, 08:17:26You might be able to automate it with Tasker—either directly in Locus or using the Tasker screen. You just need a signal when the navigation instruction comes in. Then Tasker can switch modes.
