Last post by Andrew Heard - May 26, 2026, 09:10:15@menion Last week I reported that under "unknown circumstances" the track chart would zoom instead of pan, while using a single finger drag. I now have a screen video of it. Maybe it requires the X-axis to be time instead of distance, or to have a gap/ pause in the recording? In the video I tap +/zoom once, then single tap-drag to try to pan but you can clearly see it zoom instead. The tap position is faintly visible.

Last post by Andrew Heard - May 26, 2026, 09:03:09I've noticed, although could have been like this for a while, when you now tap a track that is being recorded, there is less than 1-in-30-taps chance the track details will be displayed in the bottom panel. Previously this was quite reliable i.e. tap the track & details displayed. It generally required North-up for the compass i.e. not rotating. Bug?

support for Tizen-based watches was removed in this version, sorry. Samsung officially removed support for Tizen watches from their store in January 2026, and the whole platform (on watches) was technically dead for years.

Last post by Mips - May 25, 2026, 23:47:40Bin noch nicht ganz sicher woran es liegt, aber in der V3.70.19 wurde offenbar irgendetwas an der Importfunktion oder an der internen Datenbank geschraubt.
Jedenfalls ist es nun so, dass Zwischenziele, also die Via-Points, nicht mehr so importiert werden wie es sein sollte obwohl in der GPX-Datei alle nötigen Angaben vorhanden sind.
Ich erstelle auf Bikerouter oder BRouter-Web meine Routen. Vor allem Rundkurse. Dabei setze ich an mir wichtigen Punkten Zwischenziele -genau diese tauchen nach dem Import nun nicht mehr auf- und navigiere dann mit Endpunkt-Priorität. Das mache ich nun schon etliche Jahre so und es hat immer funktioniert.
Nun jedoch nicht mehr. Und damit ist die Navigationsfunktion in der V3.70.19 für mich nahezu unbrauchbar.
Es kam mir gleich merkwürdig vor, als plötzlich statt der gewohnten blauen Zwischenziel-Symbole kleine schwarze Kästchen im der Routendarstellung auftauchten. Unter "Route bearbeiten" stellte ich dann fest, dass statt der von mir gesetzten vlt. 20 Via-Points nur noch vier blaue Via-Kästchen in der Route auftauchten. Auch während der Navigation wird als "nächstes Ziel" nicht mehr der Kreis mit dem Punkt in der Mitte (Zwischenziel) angezeigt. Wie auch, die Via-Punkte sind ja weg.
Das ist aber noch nicht alles. Solange ich exakt auf der Route bleibe, scheint alles zu funktionieren, weiche ich aber von der Route ab, bricht das Chaos aus. Locus signalisiert zwar, das ich abseits der Route bin, nimmte aber keine, zumindest keine erfolgreiche, automatische Neuberechnung vor und nach einiger Zeit, in der nichts navigationstechnisch nichts passiert, verschwindet zu allem Überfluss dann auch noch der Track von der Karte. Nach "Navigation beenden" ist dieser dann wenigstens wieder da.
Kann jemand dieses neue "Feature" bestätigen?

Habe gerade festgestellt, dass der Import in der V3.70.17 noch zu funktionieren scheint, zumindest sind dort unter "Route bearbeiten" noch alle blauen Via-Kästchen vorhanden.

Vielleicht liegt es auch an dem seit V3.70.18 beendeten Support für Android <7.0.. Auf meinem Radnavi S7 mit Android 8 tritt der beschriebene Fehler auf. Beim Planungstablet mit Android 10 scheint es zu funktionieren.

I got an update today to version 4.34.1 and since this update my Galaxy Watch can't connect anymore to Locus. I just get the banner "No response from Locus Map".
Yesterday, before this update, everything worked fine (i was cycling with the watch).
My Setup:
Watch: Samsung Galaxy Watch SM-R800 (with Tizen OS), latest OS/App versions installed, App Locus Map Free 1.0.1 is installed
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S24, latest OS version installed, App Locus Map with version 4.34.1 installed
Things I already checked:
- the watch is connected to the phone with bluetooth, other apps are able to communicate with the phone (I also tried re-coupling again - no difference)
- When checking today, surprisingly the Wear for Locus Map Addon was not installed on the phone. I installed version 1.6.0 (again?) - no difference
- Locus Map recognizes the Watch Addon (shows a hook in the Add-ons About page)
Is there anything else i can do? Or are you aware of an issue?

This is, what I meant by confusing. This always confused me, but the discussion triggered the report.
Compare the 2 screens. On the map (without rotation, north up) I use for planning, Götzendorf is to the left (west, blue arrow)

In the search screen from the position I was sitting, Götzendorf is up (because I was facing west when sitting)

I find it confusing because when planning I don't know where north actually is, but I have a map with fixed orientation. So I would expect the search screen arrows to point on the direction, where I find the results on the map.
