Just want to say that applying presets to routing preferences, and resetting afterwards, is a stroke of genius. It's suddenly made presets really useful. Well done.

I just wish it was possible to choose map in presets and not only the theme ........

The app crashes when I try to load trackables in log manager.

Smooth interface makes a big difference (on my Samsung S8)

Hardware acc. is on, map is empty.

Happens on the Samsung S8 and also on a Ulefone Power 3s which becomes almost unusable. Can make a video of it later today.....

I do not know the device you have, but three map layers at once together with map rotation ... well, I do not expect an amazing performance here.

I don't expect amazing performance, either. But I expect the response pressing a button being faster than 2 seconds on a samsung S8. Even not map related operations like opening the menu is considerable slower when map rotation is turned on (with a raster map and a vector overlay map)

then there have to be something, that slow it down. A huge number of points, tracks visible at once?

Did some testing and it happens when I use a WMS raster map, a V4 overlay map and turn on map rotation.

Zooming in and out is extremely slow when map rotation is turned on.

Interesting ... any information that helps to simulate it?
Certain map? Certain theme?

The Voluntary UK / Transparent theme does not draw properly, but others do.

The video shows that Locus is not able to draw the map properly if "detail (low zoom)" is turned off.

I am using a wms background map and a V4 vector map with the Voluntary UK theme as an overlay.

The new app works great and the maps are a lot better 

But it would be nice if you could find some time to fix another problem with the map. This is an old problem and not related to the new version.

If I rotate the map manually, this rotation is always reset if the screen is turned off and on again. The map is always with north up when the screen is turned on.

Maybe this is a feature and not a bug, but in that case, could you make it configurable?

same problem with the download of notes with all caches? Some error message visible?

Tried 3.36.2.14 and able to log in with this version. But I am not able to load the online cache note from GC to the phone. Uploading the other way from phone to GC works.
