Using my smartphone simultaneously for Locus voice guidance *AND* (alternately at Locus) for listening to music, I notice that some audio apps stop playing permanently after a Locus audio intervention, while others naturally play again when Locus has finished .

Could Locus Map be the cause of this different treatment ?

Locus Map for Garmin / Re: Locus Map for Garmin

By making the first settings of a new smartphone and trying again to use, even in slightly "degraded" mode (see above...), the Locus Map-Garmin fenix 6X couple, I can no longer manage so that they recognize each other, and only get failure messages on the watch (see under...).
What is the path to follow to make it work again?
I specify at this point that the watch and the smartphone already communicate with each other, of course, for example for synchronizations or real-time monitoring of watch data in Android Garmin Connect.

A point of this still alive bug: my OnePlus 3T has bee upgraded to Android 9, now, but the problem remains the same; unable to use BRouter on it as routing service.

Update: this OnePlus 3T (still under Android 9) is now working fine if I try to plan a route totally offline (Plane mode on) with LMPro/LoMaps /Brouter. A new version of BRouter, I think...?

Alternatively you can USB connect to a PC - all files accessible.

Yes, I just achieved to do so. Not really easy to have this connection working, but it is OK now, thanks!  :)

Trying X-Plore again, but it does not permit me to paste any file in the menion* directory spoken above...

May be a more conventional method exists in order to use previously made "my_icons.zip" file in the new version of Locus Map?

Yes, you indeed missed something  :)

Thank you ! And sorry , but not enough to make me sign in to FB ;)
Anyway, I feel not comfortable with a map view on my wrist, even with the fast enough Garmin one...

What's the issue with the UI?
The feeling of having a bazooka to kill a mosquito, or something like that... But I shall give it another try !

I hope this Locus base private folder is on INT SD.
Because then x-plore can read and write at your will.
I don't really understand these tricky concepts, as an end user of Android OS and apps basically happy like that! ::)
Anyway, I previously had a look at the X-Plore tool, but I have been basically afraid of the UI :o

Thank you, it seems to be OK now  :)

Finally no.

The above path "/Android/data/menion.android.locus*" let me find and see the files I want to deal with, but I cannot handle them with my very standard tools.

Hi,
Having a look again on the Locus Map for Garmin application, I observ that I can no longer see the current map of Locus on the fenix screen, but just the Garmin one, now.
Did I missed something ?

Thank you, it seems to be OK now  :)

As I can already sync points and tracks in Locus web, now, may be a syncing of some other little personnal things would be fine...?  ;)

I used to handle some Locus personal files (*) with a file utility or with Dropbox/DropSync, especially for backing them up, restoring them, or even exchanging them with a second smartphone.
Now, probably due to the Android (v11) and/or Locus (v4) upgrade, I can't find the path to these files anymore. What is the remedy?

(*) as points and tracks, icons, cursors, dashboards...

As I see on the screenshots, there is no space for five buttons on your 6T device.

And yet, the 6T has a definition of 1080x2340 pixels, against 1080x1920 (less!) for the 3T which accepts the five buttons...

Hi,
With one of my smartphone (the most recent of two), I can no longer have five buttons (limit = 4) in the bottom bar. All remains OK with the older one, with five buttons present.
Any reason for that...?

Web portal & sync / Re: Web planner / portal

Hi  :)
Trying Locus and some settings on my (little...) Jelly Pro, I loosed the menu button and the lower bar...
So, no access to the settings again... How to recover?
