MBTiles - center on map feature?

When selecting a MBTiles personal map there is no option to "Center Map" (move the view to the center of the map).  This can be done with maps that have been downloaded.  Is there any other way to "center map" with a MBTile map?

Thanks,

I'm glad to see that someone use this map format. You're correct. This button was missing on MBT map. There is problem with setting of this center (so you still cannot set your own center of map) but centering (on by Locus computed center) is possible now. So will be in next release

Sounds great!

I found/purchased Locus specifically because it supported MBTiles - thanks for the great feature.

Hello,

I saw that this was added to the lasted release, 1.9.7 - thank you!   While testing I found a problem, I can't tell for sure but it seems like the sign (+/-) of the latitude is getting flipped.

Here is a small (3 MB) file for testing:

//http://www.miscjunk.org/forum/washtest.mbtiles

It's a small map of Washington D.C. (USA) but when selecting "Center Map" it puts the map off of the coast of South America (from switching to OpenStreetMap to see where the pointer is at).

Thank you,

Hello,

Downloaded the new 1.10.0 version and did some testing:

1) 'Center on map' feature seems to work- thanks!
2) 'Information' dialog looks great - thanks!

3) BUT, this version has added big problems with mbtiles map - using the same Washington, DC test map, the tiles seem to get flipped around as you zoom in:

This one looks OK:

Tiles are flipped:

Please let me know if you need any other information.

Hello,

Testing your new update 1.10.1, I see the following:

- maps OK now (no flipping)
- info still OK

- BUT 'center on map' is broke again, seems to be flipping the sign on the latitude value

Thanks for all of your work, will understand if you just want to remove 'center on map' feature for MBTiles

Thanks,

are you sure there is still problem? Please try to go to Locus->settings->Misc (at bottom) and clear cache. Then restart locus and try centering again. There will probably be cached old values. This have to work :)
