I can confirm this behaviour – however, this happens only sometimes, and I couldn't find out yet under which circumstances...

@T-mo: Thank you – I know the settings can be found in the "All features" menu and the quick settings can be edited by a long click, but these are just workarounds when the "main" settings button disappears. However, the issue is solved now

@Graf Geo: Sorry, I didn't answer explicitly. I tried what you suggested (thank you), but no success – the settings icon is still missing...

Interesting issue. I see, it crashes in one of our libraries on the place, where we made no changes for some time, where it does not make sense and it does not crash to any other user. Give the new Beta, please. Maybe (I hope) a simple update of the app fix it. Thanks!

Still crashes, but if I'm the only one with this issue, don't bother, I will buy a new mobile phone in September after seven years. It's time to make one step forward from Android 7.0

Hello, app crashes instantly when I'm trying to start the route planner. Everything else works fine. Log attached.

Edit: App crashes also when pushing the map content button.

I like the old track overview better. In comparison to the new one, these are its advantages:

– More map details --> more information about the track. An improvement of the old diagram could be to increase the image resolution to get a better quality when printed out (what I sometimes do to produce a backup paper map for hiking)
– No grey overlay --> Map is better readable and looks better when printed out
– more statistical information about the track
– The ratio between the map information and the font size makes more sense. When reading the map, you usually zoom in, why are the fonts so huge?
– hight diagram is easier to read (see comparison). An improvement of the old diagram could be to show more than one hight indicating (horizontal) line.

The new overwiew looks more like a thumbnail, I don't exactly understand the use case. When I wanted so send a track overview to someone who doesn't have Locus App, I would use the one with the best image resolution and the most (relevant) information about the track, so that the receiver gets the best idea of it.

I think this is what he means.

I would also appreciate the possibility to toggle the warning icons on/off. They are a great feature 👍 , but there are also many use cases in which their information is not relevant and a clear uncluttered view is more important.
