concerning the cursor vs. GPS Position issue: I found out the "problem" was on my side:

Sometimes the online search shows up two similar "latest search" results (see screenshot). One is with location, one without.

Maybe yesterday I clicked on the wrong one with "Vienna" while my cursor was somewhere 100 km away.

So --> sorry, my fault.

When searching for a POI, e.g. a bank, the online search is sorting the results according to my current location, not according to the cursor's position. This makes it impossible to search something in a distant place.

... and the navigation panel (the one with the big arrow) doesn't show up any more during navigation – neither the small nor the big one.

Looking forward to testing the new search system.

Something different:
When navigating with the new version 4.16.0.2, both information panels at the top of the screen don't work any more. No matter what option I choose, the information doesn't change. The values don't change either, the kilometers to the target stay at 24.4 km all the time

Do you have a screenshot? I have no clue what this is about; in what context do we have "active points"?

I tried different screens now, I used different tracks for testing – nothing. Only the height profile produces this issue... 

I found a reproducible bug in current version 4.15.0:

Buttons that are normally shown in the side bar are incorrectly displayed in the bottom bar after following the steps shown in the video: https://1drv.ms/v/s!AredTfs4J1f5gu5em-KdKUBg1UJ82A

The bug occurs after turning my phone from portrait to landscape and back while looking at the detailed height profile.

I would like to add Management of Track Waypoints as No. 5.

As for now, when I plan my hiking trips, I use embedded waypoints, so that the track file is able to be sent to my trekking partner as a complete KML file. These embedded waypoints can't be managed properly. I would like to be able to search for them, display them in a certain radius around the cursor etc.

So my workaround is saving every embedded waypoint twice – within the track and as a "standalone" version in my points folder. This is more work for me, but also raises problems, like when I edit a point in the points folder, it doesn't change in the corresponding track and vice versa.

A second thing would be the improvement of data sharing (e.g. via shared folder).

It's your choice to buy a phone with an immature screen technology, it's not Locus' fault.

In 4.11.1.3, the side panel can't be displayed any more by double clicking (setting = hide automatically)

Hm, interesting... Maybe Menion can simulate the issue?

My bottom bar is set to always visible, only the side bar is set to "hide automatically".
