Ah you use only notification when you are too far away from track. Then I really suggest very nice solution from 0709 (if you make it working), because it will do exactly what you wants

I get notifications even when I am on track. For example before a turn, on track, screen lights up. No TTS.

Firefox? Don't use Firefox for this purpose :).

Actually it's not firefox. It's the default browser that came with my phone.

Name is: "com.android.browser" version 5.1-9e6a3fabd3

Hello flingret,

may you describe me, how you use "Screen on/off Control" settings, when you do not use TTS for navigation? Because this feature should work correctly only when using TTS.

My settings:

I'm not doing anything special to get this to work... I use brouter for offline routing. Added "navigate to" to function panel and using that button... Screen lights up and turns off as I want, but I have TTS off.

Hi

I'm using locus mainly for navigation when on a bicycle. The auto screen ON is great because it saves me alot of battery. But is there any way to tell locus to make a beep-sound when the screen turns auto ON?

Too many notifications are lost because I dont look at the screen much when riding my bicycle, and I don't want to use the TTS (bicycling in town, people think I'm crazy or dumb if using TTS...). I just want a normal beep-sound when the screen turns auto-on... how?

I'm not using guiding, only navigation.

I love this feature too, but I wonder if it is possible to show the altitude color changes when navigating (navigation line)? Now I can see the altitude on a track, but as soon as I start navigation, I get the normal solid colored navigation line.

Are you using an Openandromaps map? In those only significant trees are included, those in your screenshot don't have any of the relevant tags.
Elevate works best with OAM maps.

No, I am using the offline maps downloadable from within Locus. I guess they are from OSM.

I'll try to understand how to use OAM maps then. Ty for your answers.

Can someone tell me if those green dots are supposed to be there? What are they?

Using latest Poland vector map with openandromaps elevate theme...

Hi

Can someone tell me how to use nogo areas when using Locus together with brouter?

I have added a new point on the map, where I don't want to go. I named this point "nogo50 test". Then I start navigation, but brouter routes me straight through this nogo point anyway. Why?

Thank you
