@menion - don't shrink the list - excellent details - it's one of the aspects of the Locus team (I dare say) we love - that the regular release notes actually have good detail, rather than say GMail which will say each week - "thanks, we regularly update our app for bug fixes & speedy performance improvements" - totally useless

Zooming the chart with 2 fingers mostly made my LM crash today. It was a route planned by LMs route planner, that I navigated.

@Menion, don't you feel it? Longtap pictures should center the map on picture position (detected via position metadata or timestamp).

And the picture view after short click... should have a map icon top right, just like other screens, which leaves the viewer and also centers.

It's screaming for such a functionality 😬

long-click to toggle visibility > it is currently mapped to the bottom panel toggle. But you are right, it is not the expected place. I'll move it to the eye toggle on the right side of the "Folder" line. Next version.

In the new version of Locus, the option to define a list of friends' names that was under the username used on Geocaching.com has somehow disappeared in the Geocaching settings. Could you please bring it back? Thank you.

There is no need for it. App grabs the list of friends directly from the geocaching.com web.

Maybe you want to support high-quality svg icons too? Pitstopper.net optionally (can) adds besides png also svg icons in the gpz root. The wpt gpx extension contains icon background color and icon position, by a hsxx (type Locus) notation. Find a gpz file with svg icons (a mix with png is possible). With such "multiple choice, or  svg or png, svg should take preference. htps://pitstopper.net/staging/poi-icons.html

As these photos are inevitably always located directly on or next to the track, clicking on the thumbnail on the map often brings up the selection dialogue, offering a choice between the track and the photo. However, as the track is already highlighted when the track details are opened, this makes no sense. Only when I zoom in significantly can I click on the photo thumbnail on its own and open it directly.
Something else that strikes me as inconsistent: I click on a track. The track line is highlighted, the thumbnails are displayed and the track info panel opens. If I open a photo and then close it again, the track is no longer highlighted, but the track info panel remains open.

It doesn't work perfectly either. When I click on 'Show on map', the tracking panel opens and covers the map completely or for the most part. The map is centred on the photo, but that's not much help if it's covered up. When I close the tracking panel, the thumbnails disappear too...

The thumbnails can also be a nuisance: I have tracks for which I've taken a great many photos. When I click on the track, I sometimes see a string of thumbnails overlapping the track line. This makes it hard to follow and you can no longer properly see the track's route. What's more, the thumbnails also overlap points that I created during the recording.
Disabling geotagged media doesn't help either. When you highlight the track, the thumbnails are always displayed.
It would therefore be useful and important to be able to disable the display of thumbnails on the track you've clicked on.
