@Tapio: Hmm, that probably depends not only on the display size but also on how you've organised the sections. For me, only the track title appears. It's always shown in full, regardless of the number of lines. Only the heading appears for my next section (Statistics). I've moved the photos further down the page. So it works quite well for me.

For the last few releases I note the Track Recording panel is displayed full-screen, so the bottom Android home/ back/ task buttons are inaccessible. I now have to swipe up from bottom of screen to tap the Back button.

And despite my previous comment that the map no longer rotates while saving the track, I have today still seen it rotate. Maybe I misinterpret this bug in 4.36.1.2 release notes?

One more thought regarding the new 'Track photos on map' feature:

When I click on a track as normal, the track info panel appears and covers most of the map. You can only minimise it using the recently introduced pin icon, after which you can only see the elevation profile. Unfortunately, it isn't possible to minimise it so that only the track title is visible. I believe this has been a frequent request in the past.

However, with the new "Track photos on map" feature, this is indirectly possible: I open a photo thumbnail on the track or from the track gallery and then select "show on map". And lo and behold, the track info panel collapses and now only shows the track title (max. 3 lines; the height even adjusts automatically – see screenshots). So it is possible! What's more, I can now swipe up and down repeatedly and switch between 'Track titles only' and the full panel.

That's why I'd like to suggest once again whether it might be possible to implement a feature where you can generally swipe the track info panel downwards so that only the title is visible. I'd find that very handy. This is particularly useful when different tracks overlap and you only want to see one of them highlighted.

@Graf Geo when you single click on the track panels title, it should do what you want. The difference to versions before is: when you subsequently clicked on tracks on the map, it stayed in the minimized state.

The problem with cache icons in Locus maps persists even in the new version of Locus.
