File manager - when selecting a different folder

Recently I had to install an older APK (many times in fact, tracking down a bug). Although no data loss, in my confusion I incorrectly overwrote the tracks database file, and wasted time, when I set the Main directory.

I changed the default main directory from Data to Media. Data only contained the default database files. Media already contained my actual database files. 1) There is no smart warning/ check whether larger or existing/ actual files are going to be overwritten by smaller/ default files. 2) There is no option to move the main directory without copying files. Note "LATER" really just means "CANCEL".

Contrast the above dialog, with changing the backup sub-directory dialog below. I suggest this is an improvement, but also why the difference approaches? In this dialog there are 3 options, the first two same as the main directory, but also a useful third option "WITHOUT DATA MOVE".

As a general comment, in any situation where a file(s) is to be moved or copied to another directory, a check should first be performed whether a file of the same name exists in the destination directory, and warn the user it will be overwritten. Here is the dialog in Windows:
