Hello, if I record a track which includes waypoints with picture or audio attached,  is it possible to exports also the media files in the gpx ?

I tried to export/share a gpx to  Onedrive  but I see only the waypoints without an attach folder.

many thanks

Hi Bruno.
Your wish to transfer any attachment such as images or pdf or other files could be perfectly and quite easily done by means of gpz. But there appears to be almost no interest by Locus users to also tackle the transmission part in Locus map. This topic has already been brought up in the past in Locus help and in this forum. The interest for this possibility is almost ZERO. Anyway a single example gpz file which shows the current reception possibilities find here. https://forum.locusmap.eu/index.php?topic=9008.msg76620#msg76620

Hello 0709,
I will study the post and the example.

Let me explain why I asked this.

When I use locus to save a track of a hiking route (I'm an in the route maintenance team of Italian Alpine Club) the idea is to save waypoints with attached an audio comment describing the problems found.

It will be nice to export separately the gpx track and the audio files to be stored    and relinked later.

It's very simple. Create the points as track points (audio). They are therefore saved in the track and belong to the track.
When exporting, you can choose with attachments. If you choose GPZ then everything is in one file. If you choose gpx then the audio is in an extra folder.

Hello freischneider,
this is exactly what I need but I already tried to export the track to gpx with attachments. I got only the gpx file and I didn't see  any folder with media files inside.

Maybe I did something wrong,  will try again.

Maybe you only have regular points. You need track points. Only then are they connected to the track. These are displayed below in a saved track.Below the elevation profile.

@Bruno.
gpz is zipped gpx+attachments. (Locus does not offer gpz exports)
kmz is zipped kml+attachments. (Locus supports kmz exports)
If you don't necessarily need a gpx track with attachments in gpx waypoints, than select and use kml/kmz.
