Easy to create your own map from JPG using MAPC2MAPC
« on: July 31, 2011, 13:43:50 »
Hi All,

For your information, the author of MAPC2MAPC just released a new version which seems to work perfectly to generate your own maps from an image file in Locus.
http://www.the-thorns.org.uk/mapping/

The procedure is described in the link below and it uses Google Earth to generate a KML file to calibrate the map:

Hope this helps!
Cheers,
David

Thank you for this info! Looks like this runs only on Windows? No Mac/Linux?
