KML/KMZ browser is in early testing phase, but for basic checking of content and mainly finally setting of opacity to KMZ ground overlays

menion, please describe it a little bit more
- where to set opacity
- if i activate a .kmz (name red displayed) inside items/3-dot button/center item, this kmz is not visible on map. Down left a new green label appears. With additional click i am able to display kmz on map???
If i hide this kmz on map the blue eye inside the green label is furthermore blue??

If it do not work clearly on first attempt, I'll have to improve it somehow. Anyway you should simply for example enable your calibrated map (with on-board calibrator) or for test, downloaded Australian KMZ from Store - enable in Data > Items as you probably did. Then green icon appear on map screen - open it > tap on item in list (there should list of enabled kml/kmz files) and click on them

In first moment i didn´t realiced that new function is only for map overlay and i used a available track/POI.kmz inside items for my first attemt     get result as i described and was confused.
So i think locus should recognize it´s a map.kmz and only then start overlay option

nono it isn't just for map overlays. I wrote it just as an example. It should work for all KML/KMZ files. If something do not work as expected, share a file with me please, thanks.

And compass ... ah, still a problem. I'll look at it once more .

here my example: screencast and attached kml
- sec 10 > center item, no track visible
- sec 19 > two items visible, first is invalid
- sec 35 > after i activate second item, track is visible
- sec 55 > i hide the track inside track details
- sec 59 > eye button is furthermore blue, although the track isnt visible

With this workflow (sec 55) green icon is at the end always visible, only solution i found to hide it > enable again "Kreuzbachblau.kml" inside item and disable it.

bylloni, thanks for a video and precise description. All issues should be fixed expect last - hiding of track. This makes me little bit desperate. I hope tomorrow some bright idea enlight my mind and I'll be able to publish new working Beta version with extended time . Good night
