How did you lose those? Locus has never deleted anything by accident on my phone. I have been using it for two years. (you can always backup those folders manually by copying them)

Concerning the data loss - maybe a problem with the SD card?
I have never lost any data or maps through Locus and have never read anything about such a problem in this forum.

if whole Locus directory is missing, I also really suggest to check your SD card. There should be no such problem caused directly by Locus!
