personal maps as overlay with opacity / transparent color

Hi,

experimenting with personal maps (see //http://forum.locusmap.eu/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3105) I wonder if and how it is  possible to use them as an overlay over vector maps and provide an opacity as seen with the WMSes or/and define a transparent color (color range).

My personal maps (.mbtiles files) are made of transparent map tiles, that were taken from our WMSes. So the tiles are transparent and I was glad to
1. be able to define a color-range that sould be shown transparently and
2. be able to provide an opacity percentage as seen with the WMSes.
Here is an example of CAD made maps that have a huge amount of white (probably within a certain range as they have passed some antialiassing)
