How to get out of downloading?

Hi menion,
on my Locus map pro 2.10.2 (on a VMWare Android 4.1.1) I wanted to continue a stopped download of online map but the last download directory was deleted in the meantime.
So I got this screenshot and none of the soft keys are functioning.
I had to kill the VMAndroid, I had no taskkiller installed.
Sony Xperia Z1c     Android 11 LOS 18.1
Sony Xperia 5 ii      Android 12
Samsung S23 Ultra Android 14
