When I import a KMZ file that contains a JPEG overlay, how do I turn off the imported file so I can view the base map?

eg.  Datamanager -> Items -> top right  eyesymbol

I had my KMZ files stored in Locus/maps and then I was importing them each time to view the map. I moved them to Locus/mapItems. Now I understand the proper way to manage the KMZ files is to use Data > Items.

I added the "Data" location to the right panel menu for easy access.

Thank you gynta!

yes, it's best way to handle these overlay files. Import function is useful for data that are inserted into database, like points and tracks. Btw. don't you already have "Data" icon in top bar?
