"starred locations" or waypoints
« on: October 30, 2010, 14:15:22 »
I'm missing something similar to "starred locations" (like in Maps).

It would be nice to be able to place a special mark on the map at the target location, and seeing the distance to it. If you're traveling, you could place a mark at the hotel, and then you can easily find the hotel on the map so that you know how to get back.

Hi,
this suggestion it's not for first time that i heard. I still have a philosophy, that Locus is only something like paper map. Just app that show maps, fast and as good as possible. For all other things on map (waypoins, recording track, navigation, ...), exist SmartMaps application. But SmartMaps have a big mistake - maps (have to say very good) exist only for Czech Republic.

I also miss possibility to sell apps in Czech. If this will be available, I'll create two versions. Payed with this functionality, but ... no possibility to sell now.

so, I'll think about it, but cannot promise that this feature will be available soon ...

this is done,
not as easy as could be!

now you have to go do data -> points -> add -> map centre ...

if I have any idea how to simple this process, I'll do it :)
