View direction doesn´t work correctly

if I use the second tab from left at the bottom for choosing the view direction it seems only to show the last moving direction. It doesn´t matter if the compass is switched on or off.
P. E. Coming to cross of streets, stop, the direction arrow becomes a circle and I turn 90° to the right the last moving direction (-90°) is shown as "view direction". I have to move some steps into the right street, (my view direction) to get the correct "view direction" on the map. I didn´t see it in older versions of Locus as far I remember.

hmm not sure if understand correctly, but this behavior is in locus .. heh, since I know

when you have speed, you see blue arrow, when speed is below some limit, you see only a blue (or green if location is not from GPS) circle

Ah, what I mean is, if you have a blue circle and you turn only the phone with second button from left on the botom of display is switched on, you will get an orange triangle, the "view direction".
Should this orange triangle not follow the turnment of the phone, even without any "speed"?
As far as I remember it did in the past, but now I have to go a few meters to "activate" the rotation of the orange triangle.

hmmm you have to have enabled "Compass" button in GPS screen. This will enable hardware compass so phone (and also orange circle) will react on phone rotation. With "Compass" off, phone react only on GPS signal so you have to have some speed

When hiking, it is no problem to find the right way, while riding a motorcycle, but the information is required in advance.

I need an big arrow indicating the direction of my route. So I turn right at an intersection.
Or change color, depending on the direction of change, for next, maybe, 10, 20 or 100 trackpoints <trkpt>.
Or change color always for the next, maybe, 10, 20 or 100 trackpoints <trkpt>. Adjustable!

Maybe I can make descriptions (<cmt> or <desc>) at trackpoints: left, right, straight?
Show in big letters!
Or use special icons(<sym> or <type>)?
Or color the track on my own?
