I don't think a 3D map is absolutely necessary, but sometimes I want to know the topography of where I am while hiking.
The Locus team will take care of whether or not to apply the 3D map, but looking at the way Orux Maps uses it these days, it looks okay.

Orux seems to use Mapbox, but how about Locus also supporting Mapbox 3D maps?

If you need a 3D map, you should subscribe to the Gold subscription, and if you want to use the Mapbox 3D map in Silver, it would be better to pay a separate amount.

NTRIP server in Korea is a problem. If I remember correctly, we tried to test it but for an unknown reason, I'm unable to connect from the middle of Europe.

Still the same problem even after a week?

It's the same even if you access it with the updated beta file today
However, it works normally in "SW Maps" and "Bluetooth GNSS", which are other NTRIP access apps.

to check VDOP value and why it does not refresh, I'll need from you recorded NMEA messages created in the time, the problem was visible. It may be done by enabling NMEA recorded in the Locus Map > settings > GPS & sensors > NMEA recording. Thanks.

When connecting to an external Bluetooth GPS receiver and viewing the "VDOP" value on the dashboard, the value is fixed at 5.0 and does not change.

thanks for the report regards the NTRIP client. I think I've found a serious problem when the client reconnects after any connection problem. Should be improved in the next version. Hope it will help to audio-coach as well.

... you see a system dialog that application crashed? If so, the log will be needed here right after this happens.

What problem is with the audio-coach?

When I just created a bug report, the system dialog didn't show up, but a bug that occurred while hiking during the day showed up.

Audio coach did not make any sound when running NTRIP
If you turn off NTRIP, you can hear it well.

When connected to NTRIP on a smartphone (Android 12), it works stably for about 20 minutes, then frequently disconnects and Locus Map 4 stops.
It is especially prominent in the border area between Wi-Fi zones and LTE (even in 5G).
And "audiocoach" doesn't work well either
As for the stability of NTRIP connection, "Android 9 (Note " looks better than "Android 12 (Note 20)".

New beta version works fine with internet RTK and runs fine in background
I haven't tested whether it works for more than an hour yet, so I need to test it a bit more, but it works very well for a short connection
Some improvements have to change the spelling of the title NRTIP, and the mount point is not activated depending on the server I mentioned before.
And when RTK is connected, it is not displayed.
So, as I said before, it would be better to display the GPS quality like the screenshot.

If you long click on the app main menu, there is an option "Log to file". If you enable this option and try it again, app should create a log with more info in the Locus/logs directory. This file should help, thanks.

This is a log file for connection errors when connecting to Ntrip.

As in the first screenshot, it almost coincided with the green dot created using RTK (I made a reference point with RTK in advance using another app and tested it against that point)

The connection to the NTRIP server was successful and RTK Fix was performed, and the horizontal accuracy was 1cm (2nd screenshot), but sometimes a network error occurs.

Connection is smooth through mobile communication network or wifi with only one smartphone, but when using two smartphones to connect to a hotspot, a connection error occurs after connecting to the NTRIP server (3rd screenshot)

And if you run it in the background, the locus map will stop running.

It would be nice to display the GPS (GNSS) quality like the last screenshot (Example of GPS quality display: 2D, 3D, DGPS, RTK Float , RTK Fix)

I just had fun testing the new beta version
I tested the connection to the NTRIP server, and the connection was successful and I received the RTCM message.
However, there are some servers that cannot be connected due to the characteristics of the server.
Guess I'll have to test this more after the weekend
