Hi!

I have some questions regarding the provider-ID in the .xml of online-maps.

The ID must be >1000, but are there other restrictions? E.g.,

• Does an ID have to be numerical, or are other characters allowed?
  
• Maximum ID string/number length?
  
• Is there a list of 'standard' IDs or of agreed-upon quasi-standard IDs? (If not, I suggest creating one (Wiki? Forum thread?), to prevent conflicts or unnecessary editing work when sharing online maps.)

I found it was my ignorance: overlooked the button to activate Custom Screens, and did not find it in the manual. Maybe you could you add a sentence or two to the manual and on the instructions page?

And mention that to select a custom screen one has to activate one and then go through the top-right menu.

Selecting CSs is too unobvious, IMO:
Tap-holding on the dashboard sidebar button has a "select dashboard" (*) item. This would be useful for the custom screen button, too.
The dashboard button on the 'more fuctions' page opens the list of dashboards. The custom screen button activates the CS. Having the list here, too would be more useful, and the UI more consistent.
What do you think?

Hello,

I'm trying to get some customs screens from this forum to work. I copied their .zip's into Locus/data/customScreen/ and started Locus: nothing about custom screens. 

There are no forum discussions and documentation from recent years... And since dashboards exists, it would probably be too much work to keep two very similar functions bug-free...

...Has this function been abandoned?
