Since Locusmap can merge points with tracks during import and create points within a track I did not use points folder anymore. All my points are inside my tracks. I use these POIs intensively. Like this

But I can not use the feature 'point notification' in folders so I miss POIS very often.
It is possible to create a notification for waypoints? (not wpt for navigation) equal to notification for folders: sound and distance can be changed.

No. Unfortunately that will not do it.
'Recalculate all' after switching back to another profile is not working either...

change existing route in route planner - switch to manual mode  - all segments are drawn as straight lines between via points. switching back to another profil and hit re-calculate: nothing happens.
Is this intented?

Das mit der fehlerhaften Ausrichtung ist schon länger als ein Jahr. Ich habe mit den Einstellungen rumgespielt - ohne Erfolg. Das Einzige, was mir hilft: Kompass kalibrieren, also Gerät spontan in Acht-Form schwenken. Dann geht es wieder für eine Weile. Locus ist die einzige App auf meinen Geräten, die so etwas tut - und andere unangenehme Sachen.
Locus ist mittlwerweile so verbugt, daß ich die Hoffnung aufgegeben habe, daß es jemals besser wird und ich wenigstens die Grundfunktionen fehlerfrei verwenden kann. Menion ist ein Ignorant und schreibt lieber ganze Module neu und erfindet Funktionen, die keiner braucht und wiederum neue Fehler mitbringen, als daß er sich um die Altlasten kümmert. Sehr enttäuschend
Wenn seine Fanbois mal richtig testen würden - statt immer nur das Hohelied auf die App und deren Erfinder zu singen und neue Funktionen zu fordern, dann würden die Bugs auch rechtzeitig aufgedeckt. Scheint aber nicht gewollt zu sein. Er selber scheint nicht wirklich zu testen.

Aufgrund dieser Zeitdauer wundert es mich, daß nicht mehrere LM4-Nutzer über dieses Problem berichten...

Weil es keinen Spaß macht und man wahrscheinlich auch nicht die Zeit hat ständig die vielen Fehler zu reporten ?

Ich habe es vor Jahren schon aufgegeben, weil ich zu oft mit "kann ich nicht nachvollziehen" und "Du bist der Einzige damit" und "hast Du es schon ins Helpdesk geschrieben?" abgespeist wurde. Meine Zeit ist mir mittlerweile zu kostbar, um den Job anderer Leute für umme zu machen. Dieses Geschäftsmodell läuft mit mir nicht.

There are some bugs existing in Locus since a couple of years, i.e. doubled points displayed, sporadic crashing route planer, the whole presest system, broken guidance....
How long should I wait for updates?


Disable automatic updates is a mistrust against the developer. If I do that I shoud better deinstall the app or either never get updates.

The setting "Unlock the screen" is not persistent across program restarts. It always resets itself to off.

Every update brings some surprises: broken functions, changed personal settings like this, complicated UI...

Went for a ride on Friday and Locus did fine (beside of the broken guidance). Got the update on saturday evening, went for a groupride on saturday, was the group navigator. Started Locus with navigation mode and had to slow down on each possible junction to unlock the screen. I was yelled a couple of times and the group was not happy with me. Fun has gone. No, when I'm on the bike I don't want to fiddling in any kind of app.
Tried to find "lockscreen" ("Sperrbildschirm") in settings by find function: no matching results and after 15s display went off and all results lost. dangit. The find function in settings is slow as hell.
@menion - may I ask you one more time NOT to touch my settings anymore and test every release PROPERLY BEFORE publishing it?!? I'm begging you for years. Thank you.
How many more users do you want to get rid of? I'm the last one with Locus of a group of eight. Don't know why still hanging with this app.
I'm so frustrated.

The guiding function doesn't throw any notification anymore. No sounds, no activation of the display. Nothing. Happens after update of two installations.

: Go into a subfolder - select a couple of tracks / not all within - export - all tracks of the subfolder are exported.
What I expect:
: select a subfolder within a folder - long tap on eye - export - all tracks of the subfolder will be exported.
: Go into a subfolder - none selection within the subfolder - export - all tracks of the subfolder will be exported.
: Go into a subfolder - select a couple of tracks - export - selected tracks will be exported
: Go into a folder (contains subfolders) - none selection - export - all content of the folder including subfolder will be exported.

Question:
If I create a track in bikerouter.de the exported GPX has a link-tag.

go to a subfolder - tap three points - tools - export - export title: name of the subfolder
ALL of the tracks within the db are exported
Is this supposed to be this way?

Not sure what is the advantage of the new Lib.

@Christian - for me the standout advantages are:

• single consolidated "folder structure" instead of artificial distinction between tracks & points
• up to 6 levels of subfolders
• quick "return" to current folder when MyLibrary button is tapped (instead of navigating any hierarchy)

I didn't have any problems with my dashboards during upgrade.

Since the beginning of LM managing points was always a mess. So I learned to avoid using it. An improvement appears some years ago when merging points with a track became possible. So no improvement in the points manager.
I use one (1) level of subfolders. Thats enough for me. More I would get lost.
Quick return to (into) a certain folder was always possible by tapping a diplayed track on the map and tap the folder name in the details. So no improvement for me.
After reading all the tests and announcement of the golden Lib I expected not less then the promised kingdom. So I'm a little bit disappointed and still have to wait for the salvation 

Apropos dashboard - when creating a new dashboard sometimes the text input field for the name is missing. Not funny.
