No problem buddy , i will find out some ways for acquiring offline maps for INDIA & if i do so i will certainly share them here with my forum friends !!

I have been using "india.osm.map" as my "mapsVector" (offline maps) !! Would really love to have a better quality offline maps (if available) for INDIA !!

This is one of the most helpful forums around & hence i am quite confident that i will receive some help in this matter !!  

Sorry guys once again but i tried everything as shown in the tutorial , all i got was a "purple colored route" but in navigation as i move the spot on the route should move with me !! That did not happen , nor was any voice audible though the volume level was 100 !!

I am once again confused after reading this , now please state the actual purpose of this app , I really can't make out what is it's actual use or let me put it this way ... What is the best aspect about this app which makes it unique or different from other GPS apps !!  8-)

Sorry buddy but forgot to ask you , can i turn off my data connection & run this app purely on GPS during the navigation

Dear friends Menion/Tommi62 .. Would really appreciate a complete tutorial step by step for using "voice guided navigation" offline once the track is recorded !!

I have already shared my woes with dear tommi62 who has been extremely helpful & patient with me (I really respect him for that) !!

I really believe that such a tutorial will be of great help for many like me !!  8-)

Still no voice support , also once a track is recorded then the navigation should work without data connection purely on GPS but whenever i open the app without data connection it reminds me to start the data connection !!

All said & done ,this app is much complicated to use in comparison to Sygic or Navigon !

I would like to study the operating of this app in detail because i purchased it as it looked pretty interesting , i have no complaints regarding the quality of app & app support provided by our dear Dev Menion (he is a genius & so are you my dear friend tommi62) but it seems that i cannot use it properly till i study it's functionalities & get used to it !!

When i open Menu > Functions .... I get these options....

1>Set right panel

2>Search

3>Share

4>Parking

5>Navigate to

6>Add new point

7>Quick new point

8>Quick switch

9>Screen lock

Your post says "Add new route & measure" ... but there is no such option for me !!

Selecting TTS has not helped my cause , it seems it's my bad luck as things are not working for me !!

Could you try also with TTS?

as I like Menion to work on Locus I try to take some of the support work from him.
What do you see if you tap on 3) in this screen http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manual ... ion_screen ?
What do you see if tap on Choose Voice?
Is the volume slider set to maximum?
Is Mute sounds navigation not ticked?

I have everything right from my side , yet no voice-guided navigation for me though i am a pro user !!  

I selected voice "Richard" (3 files copied to audio nav folder on my handset as explained in voice/icon etc section) !! Now i tested it yesterday (after selecting the voice after tapping point 3) , but i heard no instructions (volume level set to 90) !!

Am i missing a trick ??

Is voice guided navigation activated in Locus Pro (with data ON) , if yes then please guide me to start it !!

Just purchased Locus Pro v2.5.6 from the playstore , I have GS3 I9300 !!

Downloaded maps for India on my PC which have the following file format.. "india.osm.map" !!

Please explain the rest of the procedure regarding how to use these on my handset !!  :?

I am a complete noob & so please bear with my noobish question & please help me !!
