1) Switching profiles no triggering recalculation - yes, this is intended behavior. You can mix routing profiles during planning of one route

Ok, this may be one valid approach. But I'm not able to change my bike e.g. from "Road" to "MTB" during the real ride.
So I like to switch the profiles with recalculation for an actual plan to identify possible alternatives during the planning process.

Not sure if already mentioned:
Switching the profiles is not triggering recalculation of my route.

+1 for Elevation chart  (critical for rout planing)
and
+1 for additional Maps  (Need für MTB scale here)

I search for the ability to quick change the map theme for vector maps, as it was available on the left control panel..

Hello Folks,
during my ride to I observe some strange behavior of Locus Map:

I usually have switch on: "Center map at GPS Position" after 5 sec.
Now in the current Beta, if I look at the map and pan a little around (moving the map), the map is not centering back after 5sec as before. The button is still highlighted.
To center back to GPS Position , now I have to manually switch off and on the "Center Map at GPS Position" button   ( for me at lower left corner)
This is very uncomfortable to handle, special in rougher terrain.

Thanks for your suggestion, but using another phone does not solve me y issue:
I would like to have a device , which has a display permanently on.
Just like a standard old fashion bike computer.

So my optimum would be:
- a small smart phone with
- ANT+ sensors connected, with
- huge battery power
- ruining Locus with
- display always on in bright mode
- for several hours
- waterproof

But I did not found anything like this jet.


So, a simple smart watch with the Locus Wear App connected to my  Nokia, will maybe a possible compromise.

is there a list of the date fields which are availble for display on the Locus Wear add on?

I'm just searching for a replacement for my Bike Computer. 

Special interest data:
-current Speed
-current altitude
-average speed
-trip evaluation gain
-trip distance
-trip time (duration)
-current hill slope / gradient   (Steigung/Gefälle) like: 5%
-current heartrate]


I  know these values are available in Locus Map , but are they alsoi in the Wear app?

I can also confirm ite works fine for Nokia 8 (TA1004) with Android 8.1.

Hello ,
I'm using latest  Locus on my Nokia 8 (TA-104) with Android  8.1.0.

The following behavior I could not solve jet:
During track record, when I stopped for a while, Locus loses GPS connection (Organe GPS-Icon) and in Locus I have to "Deactivate /Activate" GPS manually to get it working again.

Locus Settings for GPS are all regarding "Allways on":
- No auto off
- GPS on during track record
- GPS on  during Navigation
Battery optimization is disabled for Locus and also for "LocationServices" (just tried it but no change )


Any ideas???
