well, thats understandable.

too bad the situation is as it is, because it works really well for me, for offroad navigation on a dirtbike.

running a cheap android auto 6 inch display for me beats expensive solutions like specialized tablets, because none of those would survive crashes, so i rather have something cheap destroyed.....

really, all i miss is the abilty to zoom in and out with some handlebar mounted controller / buttons.

well, there is always hope.....:-)

hi, is there anything going on regarding using a hardware controller to operate the android auto version ?
would be nice to be able to to basic operations like for example zooming in and out with some kind of handlebar mounted controller

seems i have to download the beta, even so i am on the gold plan.
is this correct?

seems to work fine on my 6 inch navifly motorcycle android auto device.

one thing:
is there a way to connect a bluetooth remote to zoom in/out on the android auto screen?
of course i can connect to the phone and use for example key mapper to set this up,
but i cannot set up the + and - buttons on the android auto screen....

i think thats basically all i really miss for now.

would it be possible for the future to choose / activate tracks on the AA screen instead of the phone screen?
same for POIs?

thanks a lot!

First of all, a big fat THANK YOU for going Android Auto!

i was using my phone on offroad bikes so far, but the camera module does not really like the vibrations.

so, got myself an 6 inch Navyfly Device, so i can leave the phone in my pocket or backpack.

gonna test all as soon as possible and keep you updated!

again, big fat thumbs up!!!
