Wegen dem Web Planer gibt es nicht viel neues. Menion hat ihn hier erwähnt: https://help.locusmap.eu/topic/shape-point-transfer-by-gpx

Da bin ich ja mal gespannt. Mit dem Locus-eigenen Routing hat er sich bisher nicht mit Ruhm bekleckert und an Brouter kommt so schnell auch nichts ran...

Unter einem Portal versteht wohl jeder etwas anderes
Naviki, Opencyclemap sind Tourenplaner, aber im eigentlichen Sinn keine Portale, wo man andere Tracks findet und herunterladen kann. Als Einzige hier genannte erscheinen mir gps-tour.info und wikiloc wirklich passend.
Schade, hätte gedacht, daß es mehrer davon gibt.

Ortsgrenzen gehen damit nicht, aber Gemeinden, Landkreise, Regierungsbezirke usw.

And when you now insert description, after save it is still empty? Are there exact steps I may follow to simulate it?

Exact steps? Create track, load it 5 times or so into route planner, add description, save it and then try to edit the description. Nothing unusual.
Extra question: as already mentioned some yeas ago - I can't mark and copy text of the description when not in edit mode. Why?

I created a track within Locus (and Brouter as Routing Engine) and saved the track after I added a description on 30.07.2019. When I want to edit the description, the description does not appear. The fileld is empty. Even on Export file
This happens the first time. So I guess it's a matter of one of the last versions.
Can anyone confirm this?

Einiges werden es schon mitbekommen haben: das Portal gpsies.com wird samt aller Daten nach USA verkauft. Ich habe meinen Account daher umgehend gelöscht.
Abgesehen davon, wird durch die " kostenpflichtige Premium-Funktion", nämlich der  Download der Tracks, die einfache Suche in Locus wahrscheinlich nicht mehr möglich sein.
Ich möchte gerne hier Alternativen diskutieren und dann menion bitten, nach Möglichkeit die API eines anderen Portals einzubauen.
Wichtig ist mir persönlich natürlich,
: daß die Daten in Europa bleiben
: der Community-Gedanke irgendwie enthalten ist
: das Portal auch benutzbar ist

Spontan ist mir da gps-tour.info wieder eingefallen.
Wer hat noch andere Ideen? Vorschläge?

Wie auch immer der Pfad vorher geheißen hat, er ist der selbe geblieben. Der Donwload-Manager hat in das selbe Segment4-Verzeichnis geschrieben. Alte und Neue rd5-Dateien lagen nebeneinander. Warum kann ich die alten Dateien nicht weiterverwenden?

anyway: seit dem Update bekomme ich im Routenplaner in Locus einen gelben Hinweis "Der Routingsdienst kann den Startpunkt nicht finden. Bitte neu definieren", wenn ich ein Profil gewählt hab, was wohl unsinnig ist: car statt hiking im Wald. Ist die Information so gewollt???

Nach dem automatischen Update auf V1.5.5. kam die Abfrage nach dem Speicherort. Hab ich so gelassen, wie voreingestellt, da keine externe SD Karte.
Beim ersten Test in Locus kam die Aufforderung, die Segment-Dateien im Download-Manager auszuwählen. das ist in sofern verwirrend, da ja alle .rd5-Dateien noch da waren.
Wieso muß ich neue Segment-Dateien laden - die auch noch kleiner sind, als die Vorherigen? Was hab ich verpaßt?
Ansonsten Danke für den Brouter! Auch im Web. Klasse.

Wo ist die DB im Store einzeln zu finden?

To avoid big mistakes... have a look at the Tapatalk App with the change of their licence system two years ago and their behavior in Europe since the EU wide data protection regulation came into force.
By the way: what is the status regarding Locus using Google Framework sending user data to Google / Facebook / ...?

I installed it and noticed that i have to delete active RT4.xml and active RT5.xml to get the theme running in Locus. Am I wrong?
I'm very happy that the numbers of hiking ways are now displayed. Unfortunately depending on zoom level not all numbers are displayed simultaneously.

I made a poll among my bike mates: three riders with Locus Free, two with Locus Pro. Locus was recommended by me some years ago. Zero out of five will pay for any subscription for Locus 4.
Arguments of the guys: "Locus is more than I need. Locus has errors not fixed since... years. Upcoming features are uncertain and not for mountain bikers...."

This kind of ghost function appears also with the Route Planer. Sometimes you can generate this green deltoid waypoint icons by tapping on a empty map AFTER the Route Planer is closed.

Thousands? This happens for all of your tracks? I tough we solved one similar issue in the latest version, so this should happen only for newly modified tracks!

With my work on many places last weeks, I have little mess in head what and where is already fixed. Anyway, I'll definitely publish regular Beta version next week, so if with this beta problem still appear, I'll add into the app method to fix this problem for the whole database.

Only edited / Brouter-generated Tracks has elevation in my tracklist. The other thousands not
Yesterday I found a track which did not have a distance value in track list. May be there are some more...
