Hi,

in Komoot I could change a connection between two waypoints as being offroad/offgrid. This way I could plan a route without having to split it up where there is no way in the map data. This is needed in areas that are badly mapped or have gaps.

Is there any way to do this in LM? I cannot find one.

Hi Manuel,
on all platforms, it is possible to select a "Draw manually" option, allowing planning with straight segments. If you can't find this option, tell me where are you planning (Web, Android, iOS), and I'll help you more precisely.

On Android I found the manual mode and enabled it on a long press on +. It adds a point at the end that is connected with a straight line.
But when I move those points the connected segments no longer behave like an manual segments and become the type that is currently selected, e.g. hiking and snap back to paths.
I enabled the option "Keep manual segments", but I don't see any change with it on or off.

Right now the only way to get the manual segments back is to select them and recalculate them as manual segments. Or switch the routing to draw manually and then moving points around.
