Unable to install Locus Map Watch on Samsung

I bought a second-hand Galaxy Watch 6 and tried to use the Locus Maps app on it. I installed the Locus Map 4.34 app on my phone and tried to install Locus Map Watch. However, I am unable to install this app/plugin on either my phone or my watch (Google play says its not compatible with neither of my devices).

I have Samsung A52 with Android 14 and Galaxy Watch with Wear OS 6.0.

Am I doing something wrong from the beginning or...? It would be much appreciated if someone could guide me, since I am kind of lost.

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. It's most likely a compatibility issue with the current Locus Map Watch add-on and Wear OS 6. I'd check the exact Watch 6 model/version first.

If you send a screenshot of the Play Store compatibility message, I can tell you what's causing it.

On my watch, it can't find the app in the Play Store at all—probably because of incompatibility, so I really cant tell what is the real issue. I did a little digging and finally managed to find Locus Map Watch on my phone. It says the app is designed for older versions of Android.

In any case, if anyone else has the same problem as I do, I found a free app called Glancemap that does the same thing as Locus.
