Hello everyone,
I've been exploring Locus Map for a while now, but I can't seem to solve a problem I'm having with importing a large number of geocaches into the app. I read somewhere that I should use a .rar file, but I don't see how to do that; also, I can't figure out where to place all the files directly in the "root" of my S25—unlike when I added extra maps.
Thanks for your help in sorting this out.

Hi,
tell me more about your data, from where the caches comes, in which format etc. Import of the GPX directly should work without any problem.

Hello,
Thanks for the quick reply.
It's all good—problem solved.
Regarding the POIs I've collected over the years—which came from various sites and different users—I found a workaround for the issue I was having with Locus (which wouldn't let me import large batches of geocaches or personal POIs).
I entered all my POIs into Garmin's BaseCamp software, compiled them into several files, and saved them to my S25U's storage. This way, Locus loads the file containing multiple POIs or geocaches at once. It takes longer than having the S25U import the files directly, but it works.
Problem solved. Could you also take a look at another question I posted about a shortcut I can't seem to delete?
I'm managing to sort out the issues little by little...
I still need to configure the top bar with various settings; I can't find where to change some of them. I'm also having trouble with heart rate monitoring: my Garmin Instinct isn't being recognized properly. I tried with my Tactix Delta—it gets recognized fine, but the top bar still shows "0," which is strange...
Thanks for your valuable advice. Locus is easier to use than other apps, but there are some configuration settings that aren't easy to find...
Have a great day.
