Map overlay & Map shading

I am using my own map overlay and it works as expected.
If i try to use map shading nothing happens.
To use map shading i have to disable my map overlay.

Is this a bug or not implemented?

Found solution!
I have to change "blend mode" in "advanced options" in overlay menu form disabled to my preferd mode.

this is hmm ... expected problem  .

To same memory, shading is "baked" into base map. When you place any non-transparent overlay over it, it simply covers not just the base map, but also the shading.
