@menion 4.33.0.10 - confirmed improvement of chart slope - below is comparison of Web Planner (top chart) & LM (bottom chart) with my previous example - now LM shows 5% instead of 8% slope - far more realistic; zoom respects the selected location - great, thanks.

The example of my online search for "glen lusk" instead of "glenlusk" still crashes LM. online search > "glen lusk" > single search item in Ireland (other side of world) > tap item > map zooms out to full world > slow crash. On next app start - "Do not visualise too many points and tracks".

Hello Menion,

since beta 4.33.0.10 the problem with "stall during start" is back (Screenshot 1). I waited 20 minutes just for testing it. Pressing the < Android button lets the App crash without any messsge. The next start the map freezes. Normal Buttons are working but neither gesture nor zooming with the buttons is functional (Screenshot 2). This happens every 5-6 times I start the App, more or less.

"AR"? = Augmented Reality? Must have missed that, where can I find that? I searched in settings and functions, nothing...

I do believe the web planner's way of filling the parts above and below the zero line is far superior to what Locus app currently does. Even better would be different colors (e.g. red for above, green/blue for below, perhaps with gradient).

Minor bug:
When doing "Share as Screenshot", Locus displays the way the screenshot is going to look, then you have to press the "Share" icon again, and a system dialog showing the actual screenshot in small is shown.
That's all fine, but after I did  it once, the next time Locus always shows the same preview as the first time, even though the shared picture itself is correct. Only close/open of Locus resets the - obviously cached - preview.

I had to look for it too. Main menu > All functions > Tools.

I like the new "Dotted style only" (although I think "Dots only style" would be better), but the color selection is unintuitive: It implicitly takes the color from the "Line", but to get dotted style, you need to deselect "Line", which also disables the color selector.

Hi Menion,

1. Maybe you remember that "shelter" symbol which I did set in the expert settings. I changed it and the problem seemed to be gone.

Because this symbol is also used for new folders, I changed it again (default point icon). But now many regular POI showing this symbol across the map.

2. I downloaded Germany south and north. Did set germany south offline map. I turned my phone in "Airplane mode". Only a part of the map was shown on screen. The main part stayed empty. Switched "Airplane mode" off --> map was shown.

I see, indeed, dotted style is a bit weird. Especially, the selected version uses the configured (but greyed out) pattern.
Additional weirdness, the pattern selector already has an entry "dotted", but they're squares. However I'd argue dotted style should just be done this old way: Line: transparent, Pattern: dots
