Locus Classic and Dropbox

Locus Classic is no longer performing backups to Dropbox since January 2026. Is this something you intend to resolve, or is it part of support having ended?

PS. Google Drive also does not work for backups.

Hello John,

Google Drive support was removed from Locus Classic and Locus Map. Google started to block us because of the "full access" app needs. This may be updated, but it needs a lot more work.

Anyway, Dropbox should already be fixed; it just needs a manual update. We are no longer able to update the app over Google Play, so give a try to APK file here: http://bit.ly/lmVersions

(Google Drive is still offered as an option when setting up backup from scratch.)
