Hmm, you are right. Three years ago, I created this system, which always picks internally translated values and ignores values from defined TTS files. Why? 

Check the next app version and be sure, that your TTS file is in version 5+.

What is for sure: Samsung screwed up their latest update.
Good chance there is zero Locus issue.

Hi guys, new version 4.31.3.9 4.31.3.10

Important info:
It has been 14 days since our previous Beta. In this new version, there are two important changes that took us almost 3 months of work:

1. New design system for screens that allows control of drawing below the top status bar, bottom navigation bar and also better handles the cutout (camery in the display). It should have zero impact on stability, but some UI glitches (like buttons below the navigation bar), may appear.

Why did we do this? It is a new requirement for apps since this autumn, so we had to. But it also looks better if done properly.

2. Updated native libraries for SQLite, Spatialite (used for offline search and LoPoints) and big "Proj" library used for map transformations. The previous libraries were 10 years old. This change has a major effect on stability. I believe I tested everything properly, but version 4.31.3.7 remains on Google Drive for easy downgrade in case of any problem.

Why did we do this? I wanted to do this for years. Now we are also forced because of the requirements for Android 16.

We spend the whole week with testing, so we believe, there should not be any critical issues. Anyway, rather download both APK files in case of any problem. Thanks for the help with testing!

Here too. Reverted back to previous version. It's good, that you removed it from Google drive. It's not usable at all.

Still the language issue.

1. I set LM to english in settings, app language.
2. UI and Theme options are now english.
3. Restart Locus
4. UI is still english, theme options now in german
5. A look into "app settings" - German is now highlighted.

Android 10, System language German.

Unfortunately I find no way to have LM draw the upper status bar on the very top. As per Android setting, I can make LM not use the notch area at all, or it is used by the map area, but status bar has an offset and is vertically below the notch area 😭 Expert settings, Fullscreen is on.
I didn't mind the notch reaching into the status bar.

Full-screen setting > I'll discuss this with my colleague, but this setting will probably be removed. It is a hack that no longer works correctly.

OK, without fullscreen mode, seeing the Android status bar on top all the time maybe isn't too bad for me.

Notifications in LM. I'm often collecting many. Then when I want to delete all, I have to scroll all the way down which is kind of stupid. Can't you put a Delete All button/whatever on top?

Well, for me (on Galaxy S24+ and Tab S9), Track Editor is completely broken: All important buttons (Zoom, Point Forward/Backward, Menu) are hidden under my navigation bar. This sounds very much related to that change. What's weirder is that also Undo/Redo buttons (top left) don't appear when e.g. moving a point.
I made the mistake of updating while I still had several holiday tracks to clean up, so now I'm stuck

You need screenshot or sth else or can you reproduce?

"Clear of notifications" > I also miss a "clean" button more accessible - will look at it.

Track editor > I've noticed this today as well. I'm not sure, why I missed this issue ... will fix it for sure soon.

Another recent issue with unwanted full screen - I don't have expert setting full screen, but when I display a recorded track chart, the screen becomes full screen but I can't tap the LM bottom buttons like chart settings because it is overlapping with standard Android 16 back, home and task buttons as attached screen capture

Same like Tapio, though I have the top panel-visibility mostly set to 'auto-hide' to have the fullscreen-experience. I could also live with that. But it lacks beauty.

'Hack' might be a strong word. There a quite a lot of apps out there with fullscreen-modes and touch-overlays, probably technicallywise it's more a matter of stack-concept, parameters and drawing, guess so.
Will bottom panel change in the feature? it is working perfectly there..
