I'm extremely frustrated that there is no option to automatically start a track recording when starting navigation.. it now has been a few times that I have only a partial recording or none because I forgot to start the recording when I started my hikes.
Yes I know that there is a Function to start track recordings with the app start but that's really an annoying feature because I don't only start the app when I'm about to hike. I also plan my hikes in the app, export my hikes, export and import pois, update the map data, etc. The auto start is just plain annoying in that case. Also, when you decline the auto start and then switch to another app and forgot that you didn't really close the app before you start your hike then there is no auto start which is another cause for losing data.

When I went to the help desk to file a feature request, I was surprised that there is already a feature request for exactly this feature which has been filed many years ago and hasn't been implemented yet.
