Blue popup-message

When I am busy with actions concerning navigation I have been encountering a blue screen for a while now (see attachment). I understand the nature of the message but how do I get rid of that screen. If I click on the wheel I end up on a screen with app settings. Do I have to do something with this?

this blue info box warns about missing background location permission. It is currently necessary for proper navigation when the screen is turned off.

Click on the "Settings" button to open app settings. Here should be the "Permissions" section > Location > "Allow all the time".

Ah; I think I've always set 'allow while using app' and didn't notice any problems. Apparently this has changed? I now understand why navigation didn't work properly. Thanks.
