When I add a photo to a LoPoint, I can select "Photos" and "Albums".
"Photos" displays a list of my photos, ordered by date (as expected).
"Albums" displays nothing, instead of a list of my albums.

How can I add a photo from an album (other than search it in the full list of photos)?

Locus 4.29.0, Android 15. Permission to access photos is granted for Locus Maps.

Hi @mambofive,

the photo picker you're talking about is part of the system, and we are not able to affect its content from Locus. However, I'm not sure why your list of albums is empty. Which albums would you expect to see there? Google Photos albums?

Exactly, I selected "Google Photos" as cloud media app and have two buttons: "Photos" and "Albums".
"Photos" displays the photos ordered by date, "Albums" just displays nothing. I expected a list of my albums in the google photo app.

When adding older photos to LoPoints, you have to scroll to all photos to find them. So I tried to create a album for LoPoint photos in Google Photos in order to add the photos from there.

I understand. So it seems to be a problem with your system. In the photo picker, under the three-dot menu, there is also a 'Browse...' option. There, you can access Google Photos from the hamburger menu. You can check if you see your Google Photos albums at least there. Anyway, you should receive the Android 16 update in a few days, which will hopefully solve your problem.

Confirmed same issue, using browse to get the older multiple system file chooser works
but the google photos view there is clunky
