Is it possible to change lopoint icons and not only the size?
Maybe a round lopoint icon background could improve its readability...

The best thing to do is submit a suggestion to the help desk. Then others can vote for it. I'm happy with it as it is.

There is currently a plan (will be done in the next months) to "PIN" certain categories and highlight them on the map. This should probably solve issues like this.
