Import a GPX file with different icons?

Hello,

I have successfully imported an online GPX file into a category and assigned a custom icon in Locus.

The GPX file includes various categories identified by the <sym> tag. Is it possible to evaluate these categories and assign different icons in Locus? The symbol names in the GPX file appear like this: <sym>Pin, Green</sym>.

Hi,
it depends on how much you want to customize icons.

You may simply open the point detail and in the edit screen choose a custom icon.

You may modify GPX before importing and set the custom icon there. Icon may be URL link or link to local file with custom icon pack (more about it here).

It is also possible to create custom zipped files also with icons.
