I have just discovered by accident that a new version has been available

The white border around the north arrow is a small improvement but e.g. not enough.

Since the labelling of the map is always aligned legibly, the north arrow has a much greater meaning than before

My 1st time actually cycle touring with the compass icon, bright sun, though not latest beta. To be honest, a big backwards step for visibility. Why the change at all? I wish I could completely replace with own simple but highly visible version.

Why the change? I'm using only dark mode, so I've not noticed before (or just ignored it). Previously, the rotating button itself had a white background. As the only active icon on this screen. So definitely a bug. If you have an idea for a better icon, it is welcome.

It is mainly in the name of Android Auto + a bunch of changes. The next step for me is to finalize the new My Library + start work on new offline LoPoints V2 (that has to be prepared till the March). Never-ending story
