Waypoint and pdf file

Problem:
I assign a file to a waypoint. (I have tried it on different folders with different Android versions <11).
If it is a .jpg file or a .txt file I have no problems, but as soon as I assign a pdf file it is saved in the waypoint, but when I call it up for display the message "File not found" appears. I have tried different PDF readers for the display.
If I open the same file from the file explorer, there is no problem.
Any ideas?

I can confirm the problem. Attached PDF files cannot be opened (system error).

for me with AFA-version it work

in which folder are your .jpg stored?
have you tried to use the .pdf from identical folder as .jpg is saved?

I think it's an access problem.

I tried with 4 different attachments: pdf, jpg, txt and docx.

If files come from different folders, I can open only jpg.

If files are in the same folder, I can open jpg, txt and pdf. But not the docx.

Internal or external storage makes no difference.

Permissions for all files is granted (Verwaltung aller Dateien zugelassen).

for me the files can be stored in different folders
and also docx is displayed.
Have you installed a docx viewer on your device? like "Google Docs"

I have different apps that can open and edit docx files. Problem only occurs when a docx file is saved as an attachment to an point/waypoint in Locus.

interesting. I have a guy on help desk with same issue (PDF file) and I'm still unable to solve it.

What PDF reader are you using? Is there problem with all of them? I need to simulate the issue on own device, it is the key to solve it...

@Menion: I have different apps to open / read PDF files, none of them can open PDF files as attachment to points from different folders:

Adobe Acrobat
Office document viewer
Office Suite pro
Xodo
One read
Google Drive PDF Viewer

I repeat, if PDF file is located in the same folder like an attached image files (JPG etc.) PDF can be shown.

I tried following folders:

on Android devices with SD Card
SDcard/Android/date/menion.android.locus/files/date/import
SDcard/Android/date/menion.android.locus/files/date/export
SDcard/Download
.jpg in this folders worked.docs , .txt and i have not yet tested.

Under MEMU
storage/emulated/0/Locus/export
storage/emulated/0/Locus/data/import
storage/emulated/0/Locus/Test

As I did not update Android on my main device there is still running Android 10, on the tablet it is android 6 and MEMU shows 7.1.

I installed the actual AFA with MEMU, but it is not working.
Any pdf Reader shows only "file not found". PDF Viewer lite creates a log file which is enclosed.
