I try an online search for "church" - no results, wrong (attached 1). I try a search for "basilica" - nearest 240km in results (attached 2) but others on map within few km.

I try an online search for "toilet" - the results are good but yet again why not sort by distance - closest 19m away but 5th in results?? (attached 3)

In online search, dragging the cursor over the middle/ top half of map point doesn't show tooltip - see attached. I suggest the popup should be displayed when the cursor is over any part of the point. This could be related to my enabled setting "magnify all maps".

when I tap on the red circle-arrow map icon, two items are listed, tapping the 1st is ignored, tapping the 2nd pans the map to the point. intended?

note, the 2nd search item for "Patisserie" is a record 18,000km away! As mentioned many a time, I'm sure there are far more relevant results.

Yes, I think. You can activate the "Centre on point" option in the Expert Settings under "Points". The map will then jump directly to the item you are looking for.

Thanks a lot - fixed. Interesting setting default seems non-intuitive.

That reminds me, the setting below "centre on point" - a value of 0 is not accepted, and the formatting includes 1 decimal rather than integer format. (yes, separate topic, have already mentioned before, but forgotten)

4.30: no discussion I recall that bottom online search results panel hides the zoom buttons?

The zoom buttons are half visible during search with a phone but fully hidden with tablet due to different bottom of screen layout - see attached - the settings for both devices are identical, so unfortunately no control over this layout.

This composition logic needs rewrite, I agree. The reason why this is happening is something like "We trust the geocoding provider we use in terms of order of results. They know why they ordered results like that." Or there is something I missed. But the most important fact here is this project has seen no development for months and that is the first thing to change.

When the details of an online search item is displayed (attached), the popup details when panning over other items on the map doesn't work. Popup details do work when a whole search list is displayed.

4.30.1 - to me inconsistent online search - zoomed out a little, only 1 search result, but I zoom in, and there are actually 3 search items. Wouldn't it be better that 3 items are in the list? And more inconsistent, the POI I've marked with a star sometimes shows a search result but sometimes doesn't. The 4th attached has the lat/lon. I was searching for "supermarket, convenience" category.

when I add my own POI at the position of a search item (to record the item - is there a better way?), my own (small) point, named "3" in the screenshot, is painted but hidden behind the (much larger) search icon. it's not until I cancel the search, which requires 3 back taps, that my own point is visible. maybe the paint order could be reversed?

after the map is dragged, to force a refresh of online search items, it's no longer possible to scroll (by dragging the list up & down) - only the 1st item can be selected. according to 4.30.1 release notes, this bug may have only just occurred. note the LoSearch attribution is no longer at the bottom of the search items, which suggests an inconsistent state of the list.

pardon me for all the reports, but while cycle touring, the new online search is getting a solid & continal "workout" rather than just a superficial "office test". On the whole I've returned to using LM online search rather than offline search or Google Maps because of the ongoing improvements.
