how to find out Datum for maps

Hello,

wondering if any one knows how to determine the datum for each map.  I have pulled some coordinates for a project but I need to know the Datum used so that we can be sure others will get the right calculations and be able to plot these points on current maps.  Also people will be navigating to the these locations so the datum is very important...

  all online maps and also maps stored as SQLite database use WGS84 datum and Mercator projection. Same for vector maps. Tar maps use datum used in map configuration file, anyway Locus do not support lot of datum modification now, so If you need something special, tell me ...
