Do hidden POIs still use computing power?
« on: March 14, 2020, 18:27:15 »
I have 1000s of POIs, most of which are hidden. I was wondering if they still use computing power even if they are hidden? Would it be better for me to delete them and just load them when I need them? Thanks.

there is close to zero power needed to handle some hidden points, so no worry. If worry, then with sizes close to 100.000, but definitely not a few 1.000.

If we talk about CPU power needed when points are enabled/visible, then yes, there is of course some. How much they affect your device may be noticeable by the lower reaction of the map (decreased FPS). But here also, a few thousand of points should generally not be a problem.
