Offline maps

I want to use this app for what it is. I do not want to become an IT tech to make it work.
Can I download QTOPO map sheets to my SD card memory on my phone to use them in Locus offline?  It's a simple question but the user's manual gets too bogged down with tech info.

Hi, what format are the Qtopo maps in? Locus can handle SQliteDB, MBTiles, GEMF, TAR or IMG (limited)
